During the pregnancy we found out that we wanted a house big enough for a family. So we had a very busy time buying that house, redecorating and moving. At the picture you see Diana at the doorstep:
Here is the midwife with the newborn just after the birth on april 19th. His weight then was 3320 gram and his length 52 centimeters.
The first week we had the help of a maternity care nurse. Now we are with the three of us.
Although Niels likes to cry, he is very quiet in his bath. In the bucket he likes to cross his feet. It is said that this is the position he had in the womb:
Grandmother Kerkhof is very proud with Niels. She has eight grandchildren now:
Niels is also very proud with his grandfather and mother van der Molen. He managed to be their first grandchild! We enjoyed the visits we had last weeks. Of course we served the traditional Dutch biscuit rusk with aniseed granules.
